About the Clark Public Utilities EV Charging Program
Providing equitable access to electric vehicles is an important goal for Clark Public Utilities as part of the Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA). CETA commits Washington State to 100 percent clean energy by 2045 and includes provisions for affordability and reliability to help ensure all customers benefit from the clean energy transformation.
This smart charging program is for Clark Public Utilities customers. Eligible customers will receive a $500 instant rebate when purchasing a JuiceBox smart charging station on this online store. Each household is limited to two rebates for JuiceBox chargers purchased on this marketplace.
How the program works
- Check your eligibility using the zip code lookup tool above. We’ll also ask for a copy of your electric utility bill to confirm your residency during the check-out process.
- Purchase a JuiceBox EV charger. Clark Public Utilities is covering $500-off the cost of the charger. Any remaining cost and installation are the responsibility of the customer.
- During the checkout process, you’ll be asked to review the residential smart charging participation agreement. You’ll be enrolled in the Clark Public Utilities program upon acceptance of that agreement.
- Install and connect your JuiceBox to the internet at your convenience. While not a program requirement, Clark Public Utilities strongly encourages you to connect your JuiceBox to the internet for an enhanced experience.

What are the advantages of having WiFi connectivity?
Is JuiceBox safety certified?
You will need a WiFi connection to use JuiceBox’s smart charging features, such as power monitoring, scheduling and reminders. In the absence of WiFi, your JuiceBox will act as a standard charging unit, and any schedules or limits you set when connected to WiFi will remain, even if the JuiceBox is no longer connected to WiFi. We highly recommend connecting your JuiceBox to WiFi, but your car will charge even if you cannot connect.
A JuiceBox home charger with WiFi connectivity allows you to:
- Track your charging history, energy use, and cash saved by driving on electricity, not gas.
- Get reminders to plug in, and notifications that your car has fully charged.
- Set up two (or more) JuiceBox units to share one electrical circuit.

JuiceBox supports the J1772 connector standards used by all major EV manufacturers for Level 2 EV charging stations in North America and can therefore charge any EV on the market. Tesla drivers can charge with a JuiceBox with an adapter provided by Tesla with all EV models.

We also offer a 3-year limited warranty on residential charging stations. Please note that this warranty is only valid for use under normal residential operating conditions. Using a residential box outside of normal residential operating conditions, such as for commercial application, voids the residential warranty.
