Guidehouse Insights has marked Enel X as one of the market leaders in its new report which evaluates the strategy and performance of 20 leading providers of electric vehicle (EV) charge point networking companies.
According to Guidehouse the fleet of plug-in EVs is expected to grow exponentially as governments and corporations implement new targets for greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Guidehouse expects that over 185 million EVs will be in use by 2030 along with nearly 170 million charge points to support this fleet. This demand shows an incredible opportunity for EV charging networking platforms such as those offered by Enel X.

Moreover, our leadership in vehicle grid integration (VGI) positions us to tap new networking services as EV charging becomes more accessible and powerful in the evolving EV market. In North America specifically, Guidehouse speaks to our strong position to be able to support utility smart charging programs, an avenue into the large residential charging market.
