New York rebates for EV chargers

New York state is driving EV adoption through numerous EV charging incentive programs for businesses and municipalities. The following incentive programs are available:

  • Charge Ready NY offers rebates of $4,000 per Level 2 commercial charging station installed at public, workplace and multi-unit dwelling parking lots
  • NYSERDA's DCFC program offers up to 80% off the purchase and installation costs of DC fast charging stations
  • The Joint Utilities of New York’s EV Make-Ready Program has a $701 million budget to support up to 100% of electric infrastructure costs associated with commercial EV charging stations
  • The New York State Tax Credit for Public and Workplace Charging offers an income tax credit up to $5,000 for the purchase and installation of an EV charging station
