eMotorWerks, a smart grid charging solutions provider, and LO3 Energy, developer of local energy marketplaces, announced a partnership to use eMotorWerks’ JuiceNet smart grid control technology for a series of microgrid and electric vehicle projects.
JuiceNet cloud software will be connected to one of LO3’s transactive energy marketplaces, activating local energy from renewable sources to be traded between the microgrid and EV drivers. LO3’s Exergy platform supports the data exchange to push price signals and peer-to-peer transactions. The JuiceNet platform ensures remote control over local energy flows, matching the local demand from electric cars and homes with the local supply of affordable renewable energy in real time.
