Yoshihisa Ohnop, a Japanese energy writer, recently published a report introducing eMotorWerks’ JuiceNet software platform to the Japanese market. The article highlights how the cloud-based technology contributes to stabilization of electric power system.
Although the electric vehicles are rapidly spreading in the United States, the technology development and the number of charging facilities has not kept up with the speed. eMotorWerks has been developing smart grid charging solutions for quite a while, and recently announced the expanded JuiceNet Enterprise solution that can manage a large numbers of EV charging stations across multiple sites. The platform is capable of monitoring the energy usage in real time and adjust the charging rate or postpone the charging session based on the signals from the grid.
