Toyota Canada recently announced its plans to invest $1.09 billion into its Cambridge and Woodstock manufacturing plants in Ontario which will become Toyota’s North American manufacturing hub for the RAV4, including hybrid versions. We wrote about the partnership with the last year. The EV manufacturing facility is expected to create 100 new jobs in the region within the next three years. At maximum capacity, the facility will produce 40,000 charging stations annually.
